Our client, a top private Bank based in London, are urgently seeking an Junior Compliance Analyst to join their busy team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

They are looking for an active team worker with solid sector experience who is flexible and prepared to take on challenging and diverse initiatives.

The successful Junior Compliance Analyst’s responsibilities will be:

                    Recognise any possible KYC AML risks in the Bank and report the findings to the Head of Financial Crime Compliance (AML and CTF) where required.

                    Conduct reviews of new prospects and current clients, evaluating the risk profile and KYC documentation, resolving any matters found by liaising with the Front Office, Line Management and Senior Management where essential.

                    Undertaking all BAU workflows, including the review of new client proposals, account opening, periodic reviews and changes to accounts, providing Quality Checking oversight.

                    Assist the Head of Financial Crime Compliance (AML and CTF) in the management of AML, CTF and KYC issues.

                    Support in the review and update of department procedures and suggest system and process developments.

                    To assist with any other regulatory tasks or ad hoc projects as might rationally be requested by Line Management or the MLRO.

The essential requirements are:

                    An outstanding academic record with a degree of work experience or have been employed in a field that would have exchangeable to the work of the Client Onboarding Team.

                    Aptitude to write clear, professional and Regulator Ready client risk reports is crucial to the role.

                    A desire for investigation with exceptional written and verbal communication talents to convey your findings. 

                    Rigorous knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to use them effectively to provide professional documents and reports and conduct analysis. You should also have the ability to successfully interrogate Internet sources.
