Fixed Term Contract – 6 Months
Salary – Circa £40 – 50,000 pa.      

Our client a financial services company based in Romford are looking to hire a Project Manager on a Fixed Term Contract Basis

They require a candidate with previous stakeholder management experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects within the Financial Services Industry (ideally Insurance – Life & Pensions)

Responsibilities of the Project Manager will include: 

  • To manage projects within the Business Transformation programme – knowledge of Data Migration and/or Business Process Change would be ideal
  • Managing the project team and project risks/issues. 
  • Ensuring that everyone involved in the project is aware of their roles and responsibilities. 
  • Handling project delivery and associated reporting. 
  • Delivering full project closure and measure against success criteria and business case. 
  • Ensuring that the service is fully compliant with all current regulatory, technical, professional and industry developments.

Successful Project Manager will have: 

  • PRINCE 2 or similar qualification
  • Proficient Microsoft skills. 
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Previous experience in managing complex projects. 
  • Previous experience in Financial Services, but outsourcing of Life & Pensions. 
  • Experience in managing projects through third parties including management of remote delivery teams.
  • Understanding of SDLC and effective internal and external reporting.
