  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of a Bilateral agreement between the building society and a bank whereby National Counties pledges mortgage loans as collateral to borrow funds from the bank, also known as Loan Securitization.
  • Calculating the funds received from borrowers on mortgage accounts to send to subsidiary in which Citibank whom act as the intermediary cash manager to provide funds to Santander as part of the bilateral contract between both parties. Also identifying suitable loans from the mortgage book that can be used as future collateral and planning when top ups maybe required within the bilateral pool of mortgages for liquidity purposes.
  • Monitoring of the portfolio, ensuring the loan book is efficiently managed with maturity dates/interest in line with agreements with the investment bank.
  • Journalling Cash Movement into the correct ledgers for the Bilateral agreement Responding to any queries raised by external auditors.
  • Management of the daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and reporting of mortgage pools, including collateral held with a bank.
  • Management and record keeping of daily cash sweeps between subsidiaries.
  • Liaising with the Treasury department for drawdowns and Underwriting department for Further Advance Accounts
  • Liaising with Solicitors for the repurchase of Loan Accounts from the SPV, or inclusion of further Loans.
