PROFILE
Senior Markets and Risk execution leader who turns regulatory, strategic and operating-model complexity into controlled, workable BAU. Brings over 20 years of experience across Front Office, In-Business Risk, Market Risk and Finance, leading complex change from strategy and investment decisions through mobilisation, business readiness, implementation, go-live and sustainable adoption.
Combines deep traded-risk credibility with COO-style execution discipline, senior stakeholder influence, regulatory engagement and a track record of restoring delivery control and delivering measurable outcomes. SELECTED ENTERPRISE IMPACT

- Portfolio delivery and sustainable control: Delivered more than 20 Price Risk milestones on time and independently validated, several up to 18 months early, contributing materially to regulatory Price Risk rating upgrades in 2024 and 2025 while embedding controls into BAU.
- Control transformation and automation: Consolidated over 5,000 thresholds from approximately 15 legacy platforms into one surveillance solution, reduced non-standard-trade detection time from 30 days to one day and eliminated more than 100 hours of monthly COO reporting.
- Enterprise operating model: Designed and implemented a Board-approved Risk operating model for a major UK banking group, enabling compliant ring-fencing and creation of a London Branch Risk function across every major Risk discipline.
- Rapid intervention: Rescued a four-month-old Federal Reserve SA-CCR MRIA, aligned senior Managing Directors on a new operating model, controls and governance, remediated more than 500 counterparties and achieved closure in eight weeks.
