cer Financial are working alongside an insurance firm who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Business Process Analyst to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of the Business Process Analyst will include:
· Analyse and document insurance business processes, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and risks in operations.
· Create process maps and flowcharts to visualize business processes and propose recommendations for improvements.
· Implement continuous improvement methodologies to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
· Gather and analyse business requirements, developing tailored specifications.
· Communicate with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of requirements.
· Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to business processes and performance metrics.
· Utilize data visualization tools to present findings, support decision-making, and provide actionable recommendations based on data trends.
· Participate in and manage business-driven IT development projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
· Write business/functional requirement specifications and collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective implementation.
· Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
The successful Business Process Analyst will have:
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 2-5 years of relevant experience in process analysis, business requirements, or data modelling.
· Experience in running business process improvement/redesign and IT project management.
· Outstanding communication skills in both English and Chinese, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
· Work experience in the insurance industry and familiarity with operational processes is preferred.
· Process management certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, BPM, ITIL, or equivalent) are a plus.
