This role is responsible for managing the our client’s entire procurement activity, ensuring that they at all times complies with the home country’s budget law and Dept of Finance guidelines on procurement; ensuring that a rigorous and objective process is followed for all selections and renewals of suppliers, service providers, and vendors.
Timeliness and accuracy of process are critical both to compliance with applicable rules and to ensuring the company continues to meet business objectives. As such, this role will be an important hub between business teams, support functions, colleagues and auditors to ensure that all stakeholders’ needs are met.
The incumbent will be responsible for defining and implementing a procurement strategy - defining procedures for procurement activities, including for those performed by other departments, to ensure an effective and consistent end-to-end procurement life-cycle is followed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or department within a regulated financial services firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Firm grasp of effectively managing highly structured procurement processes.
- Proven ability to negotiate high value agreements.
