SPF Property Loans Administrator

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank who are based in the West End. They are seeking a Property Loans Administrator to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of the Property Loans Administrator will include:
- Operate within the Banks controls and risk management procedures.
- Liaise with the Banks Operations, Treasury, Credit Department and Compliance teams.
- Work in a team with other SPF members.
- To create & maintain client loan account records.
- To monitor limit & expiry reports.
- To obtain client references where required.
- To instruct the Bank’s professionals (including solicitors, surveyors and quantity surveyors) and ensure that all reports received are satisfactory. Liaise with the Managers within SPF to discuss contents and suitability of all such reports and liaise with the Bank’s Credit Department.
- Check and release payments, both for initial drawdowns of loans and subsequent interim certificates from quantity surveyors.
- Monitor all loan & professional panel insurance requirements and maintain a diary system to ensure renewal of policies.
- To ensure fees and charges are taken in line with loan agreements.
- Deal with the opening and closing of client accounts, liaising with the Bank’s Operations Department.
- Deal with the Customer Due Diligence reviews.
- To deal with partial and full loan redemptions, in conjunction with the Bank’s solicitors.
- To deal with loan extensions, in conjunction with the Managers within SPF.
- To assist with the production of management information.
- Undertake and be involved with any projects being undertaken by SPF.
The successful Property Loans Administrator will have:
- Educated to GCSE level or higher.
- Not less than 5 years general banking experience, including at least 2 years’ experience in a property lending environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Literate in Word, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
