Transaction Legal VP

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Transaction Legal VP to work with them on a contract.
The responsibilities of the Transaction Legal VP will include:
· Reviewing, drafting and negotiating new and existing banking, funds finance, insurance finance and general finance documentation (including syndicated and bilateral loan documentation which is based on Loan Market Association documentation, net asset value facilities documentation, subscription finance documentation and margin loan documentation) and associated financing, term sheet and mandate documents for various business stakeholders in the EMEA region with and without support from external legal counsel.
· Advising, drafting and liaising with business promotion groups and operational and back-office teams on all legal, structuring and related issues in connection with such matters.
· Monitoring and advising on regulatory matters and market developments affecting loans and funds finance products.
· To deal on a proactive basis with questions of a legal nature.
· Be proactive to raise and escalate important legal issues and risks.
· Proactively contribute to the development of the Bank and actively work for the elimination of legal risk.
· Supporting general finance work undertaken by STPD-Legal Group.
· Attend CPD training courses
The successful Transaction Legal VP will have:
· Qualified lawyer in the range of approximately 2 to 8 years’ post qualification who has solid experience in a broad range of funds finance, general banking and insurance finance products which has been gained at a reputable law firm and/or financial institution.
· Good familiarity with market standard loan documentation and fund finance structures.
