IT Project Manager (Information Security)

Daily rate of < £350 per day LTD
International Bank based in London are urgently seeking an IT Project Manager to join their busy project team on a temporary basis. Our client are looking for a well-rounded PM from an IT background who is looking to work in Information Security. InfoSec experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities of the Information Security Project Manager will include but not limited to:
- The person in this position will be responsible for project management activities for the Information Security Team including project definition, documentation, creation and execution of project plans and coordination with other teams as well as project cost management, resource management and reporting.
- To analyse, document and communicate requirements and work with technical leads to develop an appropriate solution. Create clear and concise business and/or functional requirements documentation.
- To plan complex processes including control points, key data and reporting elements, process training documentation and system interfaces.
- Train user groups including the growth of training materials, quick guides, and project presentations in support of projects and department initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage successful project phase deliveries through development, testing, implementation and post-implementation support
- To develop, preserve, and generate reports for projects, process support, application support, internal training, project expenses, and department initiatives.
- Progress project presentations for status reporting, negotiations, and decision making suitable for a range of audiences.
Have you got the essential requirements below?
- Experience and awareness of Project Management and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within Information Security, or Information Risk.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or associated field
- Practical experience in developing process documentation, flow charting and as well as familiarity of process re-engineering
- The aptitude to document and design processes and work flows from both a business and IT perspective
