cer Financial are working with an established investment bank based in Central London. They are growing and are now looking for an experience Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are looking for someone who have experience in managing all submissions of Regulatory returns to the governing bodies. Manage the preparation, accuracy and submission of all returns and oversee the submission of all regulatory reports, (BEEDS and Regdata).
The right person will step in for the Regulatory Accountant in their absence and assist in any other Ad-hoc work, as and when required by the CFO, Chief Accountant and Line manager.
The responsibilities of a Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer will include:
- Manage the preparation, accuracy and submission of all returns.
- Oversee the submission of all regulatory reports, (BEEDS and Regdata).
- Help with interpreting rules and guidance concerning regulatory returns such as assessment of the impact on regulatory returns.
- Assist with improvements with on-going system, process and control - liaising with SW vendors and IT department
- Adhering to compliance with laws and regulations in connection to the Bank's regulatory & financial reporting.
- Produce information to be reported in the ILAAP, ICAAP and Pillar 3 disclosures.
- Work closely with audit functions (internal & external) which includes assistance for year-end reporting purposes as and when required.
- Support for Regulatory Reporting Officer and Regulatory Reporting Accountant, as and when required.
- Assist in preparing the quarterly financial reporting to shareholders and Central Bank when necessary.
- Assisting the CFO, Chief Accountant and the Regulatory Accountant as and when required.
The Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer will have:
- Strong regulatory reporting experience / knowledge (including capital, liquidity and COREP) having had responsibility for preparing and submitting regulatory reports for UK bank.
- Strong in Excel and able to handle large amounts of data. Competent using macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables and conditional formatting.
- At least 5 years’ plus experience in a similar role in financial services.
- Qualified accountant.
