cer Financial are working alongside a global product company, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Finance Manager.
The responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
- Produce and review accurate month-end management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and group reporting.
- Prepare consolidated reports, intercompany reconciliations, MI packs, and board reporting.
- Manage rolling cash flow forecasts (6, 13, and 22 weeks) and authorise weekly payment runs.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring effective cash collection and payment processes.
- Analyse sales, budgets, KPIs, and financial performance, providing reports and commentary.
- Manage royalty reporting, payments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure VAT returns, tax reporting, and statutory deadlines are met.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, year-end accounts, process improvements, and finance system enhancements.
- Liaise with internal teams and external accountants to improve financial performance and controls.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience producing management accounts, consolidations, and financial reporting.
- Strong cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis skills.
- Experience managing AP/AR and overseeing transactional finance.
- Knowledge of VAT, tax reporting, and year-end processes.
- Experience with royalty accounting, foreign currency, and multi-company environments.
- Manufacturing industry experience and understanding of US sales tax (desirable).
