cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking an IT Service Design & Introduction Lead (VP) to work with them on a contract.
The responsibilities of the candidate will include:
- Lead service design and transition activities for ECB programme deliverables, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
- Develop Service Design Packages (SDPs) and ensure all support, monitoring, and governance requirements are in place before go-live.
- Act as Service Readiness Lead, supporting operational resilience, service continuity, and audit traceability.
- Support the implementation of Service Design and Introduction processes, standards, and training across the organisation.
- Engage senior stakeholders, facilitate readiness reviews, and provide governance reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement of service management processes, frameworks, and tooling.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong experience in Service Design and Transition within regulated financial services environments.
- Knowledge of ECB regulations, operational resilience, and ITIL v4 service management practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes, ideally within Tier 1 banking.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, communication, process design, and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and tools such as Visio and SharePoint.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4 and project management qualifications are desirable.
- Understanding of ECB SSM, DORA, and experience with Japanese or Asian financial institutions is advantageous.
- Background in enterprise architecture or solution design is beneficial.
