cer Financial are working alongside an accounting firm, who are based in London. They are seeking a VAT Senior Manager, to work with them on a permanent basis:
Responsibilities:
- Provide VAT advice across a broad range of matters, including specialist technical VAT assignments.
- Lead VAT due diligence projects and manage a portfolio of clients.
- Take responsibility for delivering high-quality client service, meeting expectations around quality, service and cost.
- Work closely with Partners and Directors across VAT and other service lines.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate additional fees from existing clients.
- Support business development and go-to-market activities across the region.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
- Oversee and support junior team members in delivering a pipeline of advisory work.
- Help develop and grow the VAT team, including coaching and developing junior practitioners.
- Continue developing your own technical VAT expertise and knowledge.
The candidate:
- Strong VAT technical and advisory experience.
- Experience at Manager/Associate Director level.
- Proven business development and client management skills.
