Sales and Trading BA – E-Trading/ Algorithmic Trading specialist

£750 per day (via Umbrella)
cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Sales and Trading Subject Matter Expert (SME) / VP to work with them on a contract.
Responsibilities:
- Lead/support e-Trading and Algorithmic Trading governance across S&T.
- Review and improve Algorithmic Trading and Trading Venue policies.
- Maintain algorithm and control inventories, ensuring compliance can be evidenced.
- Review product classifications and manage any required remediation.
- Develop e-Trading standards, workflows and processes.
- Support Remote Booking Standards for cross-border trading.
- Work with Risk, Compliance and Front Office on Product Governance and approval.
- Improve Trader Mandate and Trading Venue controls and reporting.
- Support internal audits and regulatory reporting.
The candidate:
- Strong background in electronic and algorithmic trading.
- Good knowledge of trading policies, controls and governance.
- Experience with trading venues, algorithms and product classifications.
- Strong understanding of compliance and risk requirements.
- Experience working across Front Office, Risk and Compliance.
- Strong analytical, process improvement and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
